As my sailing friends and I, eagerly await final race results from the Annapolis to Bermuda race, I thought to share Spinsheet's updates and photos! Congratulations to a couple of my friends on team Cimarron that participated in the PHRF Division - Spinnaker 2.
www.spinsheet.com/a2b/#.V2SrgPkrJhE We toured the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Yard in Baltimore, MD. For over a hundred years, the USCG Yard has built, repaired and renovated ships at this yard. It is the Service's sole shipbuilding and major repair facility, and an essential part of the Coast Guard's core industrial base and fleet support operations. Interesting place!
Thank you, USCG for all that you do!! http://www.uscg.mil/yard/ Thankfully the weather is slowly improving (except for the fact that there are more storms predicted for this weekend). :-) Please practice safe boating techniques while on the water!
